A Public Bilingual Charter School

Located in Southeast Nashville, Aventura offers a project-based learning approach and a focus on global competence. Following their K-8 journey, students will graduate with academic mastery, curiosity, biliteracy in English and Spanish, and a track record of positive contribution to their community that together ensure they are prepared for success in high school, college, and a meaningful life. Aventura was launched in the 2022-2023 school year and currently offers grades K-3. The school will add one grade level each school year until reaching eighth grade.

Aventura in Action

One of the things I really appreciate about Aventura’s school culture is how consistently the school provides meaningful opportunities for students to engage beyond the classroom. There’s always something happening that brings joy, connection, and enrichment. I also love that many of these activities reflect and celebrate the Spanish-speaking community, which feels especially intentional and respectful given the bilingual nature of the school. It creates a sense of belonging and cultural pride that’s really special.
