You can submit an application for your student on our website https://aventura.schoolmint.com/ or complete a paper application and send it to the school.

-Students eligible for kindergarten must be 5 years of age on or before August 15th.

-If your child will turn 5 years of age between August 16th and September 30th you may

contact us to inquire about Kindergarten Readiness testing.

-In alignment with MNPS policy for Spanish Immersion Schools, applicants in second to fifth

grade will be required to pass a Spanish language proficiency test before being accepted to

the school.

-ACS may refuse to admit any student who is expelled from another public school or district

or is in the process of being expelled from another public school or district.

-ACS does not exclude students from enrollment based on race, color, ethnicity, national origin,

religion, income level, disability, proficiency in the English

Aventura collects applications from October-February for the upcoming school year.

If there are more applications than seats available, a random computerized selection will be held to fill available seats. Results from the random selection process are shared in the first week of March. Applications submitted after this deadline will be added to the wait list in the order they are received. Families will receive a notification through email/text message or both when they are offered a seat. 

-Sibling preference is given to students who have a sibling attending the school as long

as the sibling will still be at the school in the same school year.

-Additionally, when two siblings apply to the same school and only one sibling is

selected, if the parent accepts the seat, the sibling that did not get selected will be

moved to the sibling priority waitlist. A student with sibling preference will be offered a

seat from the waitlist when a vacancy becomes available.
